Remove hyperlinks from Excel file

When you have a file with hundreds of hyperlinks it makes sense to use macro to automate things. If you have a very few hyperlinks, you may well be interested in an easy way to do this. Follow below steps to remove hyperlinks from your excel file.

  1. Use the arrow keys to select the cell containing the first hyperlink.

  2. Press Ctrl+K. Excel displays the Edit Hyperlink dialog box.

  1. Click Remove Link. The dialog box disappears and the hyperlink is removed.

  2. Use the arrow keys to select the cell with the next hyperlink.

  3. Press F4. The hyperlink disappears.

  4. Repeat steps 4 and 5 to remove any other hyperlinks you want removed.

Alternatively, you can 'right-click' the text that has hyperlink and select the option of 'Remove hyperlink'
